Data Protection and GDPR
This statement summarises CreditWatchGo’s UK GDPR controls and the responsibilities shared with customer organisations.
Controller and service roles
FinanceGo Limited is the controller for CreditWatchGo. It is registered in Scotland under company number SC727633. Its registered office is 16b Silverknowes View, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH4 5PY.
FinanceGo Limited acts as controller for account administration, service security, billing and its use of official public-register information. A customer organisation normally controls business relationship, exposure and contact data it chooses to enter; FinanceGo Limited processes that data to provide the service.
Data protection principles
We limit processing to stated purposes, minimise information, preserve source evidence, restrict access by organisation and role, use appropriate security, and review retention. Public pages and marketing content must not expose customer watchlists, exposure, credit limits, payment terms, private alerts, notes or account activity.
Customer responsibilities
Customer organisations are responsible for a lawful basis, accurate instructions and appropriate notices when they add personal data for their business purposes. The Privacy Policy explains CreditWatchGo’s categories, sources, purposes, bases, recipients, transfers and retention.
Security, processors and transfers
Controls include encrypted credentials, password hashing, secure session cookies, request protections, role checks, audit records and restricted production-data access. We assess providers used for hosting, communications and billing and use appropriate UK transfer safeguards where required.
Rights requests and complaints
Send requests to support@creditwatchgo.com with the subject “Data protection request”. We may verify identity and coordinate with the relevant customer organisation. We normally respond within one calendar month.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
